Project with HP and the Australian Government

Specialisterne joined forces with HP and the Human Resources Department of the Australian Government, in a program developed to provide training and employment for adults with ASD in software testing. In the initial phase, HP has already hired 11 people, and intends to hire many more.

In the attached video (among others) we can see Thorkil Sonne, the founder of Specialisterne, and two consultants working for HP. Swato Soni, HP Senior Functional Tester, says that people with ASD have skills that allow them to take part in tasks that require multi-tasking, attention to detail, a high capacity to detect errors, and so can ultimately achieve the desired quality of end-product.

In the other video, other consultants talk about their experiences of the project.
