Specialisterne Foundation

The Specialisterne Foundation works to enable one million jobs for people with autism and similar challenges through social entrepreneurship, corporate sector engagement and a global change in mind-set. Specialisterne Foundation works with stakeholders around the world to bring about a vision of a world where people are given equal opportunities in the labor market. The foundation owns Specialisterne Denmark and the Specialisterne concept and trademark.

Our Mission is to collect and share knowledge that will help people with autism and similar challenges thrive and excel in the labor market by

  • Supporting the development and international roll-out of Specialisterne – local licencees that base their business model on the concept of assessing, training and employing people with autism.
  • Support labor market stakeholders in the integration of people with autism into the labor market.
  • Create respect for and awareness of the skills and rights of people with autism based on the UN Convention, The Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Our Goal is to enable one million jobs for people with autism and similar challenges

The Specialisterne Foundation drives the planning process of starting up Specialisterne in numerous new locations. Enabled by grants from private foundations and the European Commission, Specialisterne is currently also working on implementing Specialisterne operations across the world.
